When we moved into our new space at the Troutdale Art Center, it felt like more than just a change of address. It felt like coming home.
Being part of this creative hub has allowed us to do what we love in a space surrounded by art, community, and inspiration, and visitors feel that the moment they walk through the door.
A Creative Community, Not Just a Location
The Troutdale Art Center is more than a gallery. It’s a gathering place where art, conversation, and community intersect.
Located in the heart of Troutdale, the center showcases a wide range of artistic expression, from paintings and sculpture to photography and mixed media. It’s a space where local artists are supported, where visitors can explore new ideas, and where creativity feels accessible to everyone.
Being here places us in the middle of that energy. And that makes all the difference.
Custom Framing with Intention
One of the biggest reasons visitors love our new location is the experience they receive when working with us on custom framing.
Framing isn’t just about putting a border around artwork. It’s about elevating it. Protecting it. Completing it.
In our new space, we have the room to walk clients through the entire design process—selecting mouldings, comparing mat options, choosing glazing, and ensuring every detail supports both preservation and presentation.
Owner and framing expert Donna Erwin works one-on-one with each client, guiding decisions with care and experience. Whether it’s a family portrait, a cherished heirloom, or a newly purchased piece of art, we treat every project with the same level of attention.
Visitors appreciate that personal connection. They’re not just dropping something off, they’re part of the creative process.
A Gallery That’s Always Changing
Another reason people love visiting our new location is the ever-evolving gallery space.
We proudly feature work from local and regional artists, giving visitors a chance to discover something new every time they stop by. From bold contemporary pieces to detailed sculptural works, there’s always something that sparks curiosity.
Supporting local artists is part of who we are. When someone purchases artwork here, they’re not just adding something beautiful to their home, they’re supporting creativity within the community.
That connection matters.
Events That Bring People Together
The Troutdale Art Center hosts a variety of community art events throughout the year that bring people together to celebrate creativity.
One event many people look forward to each year is the Cascadia Fine Arts Festival in May, which highlights talented artists and draws visitors from across the region. Events like this help keep the local art community vibrant and connected.
First Friday is another favorite in Troutdale, when galleries and local businesses stay open late and the town comes alive with art, music, and conversation.
These gatherings create opportunities to meet artists, discover new work, and experience the creative spirit that makes this community so special.
Why This Move Matters to Us
Being at the Troutdale Art Center has allowed us to deepen our connection to the community.
